We use superior quality materials in our kits. Our 33" wheelsets are cast in ZA-27 alloy, which is stronger and has better wear characteristics than other die-casting alloys. Our truck bolsters and coupler components are also cast in this alloy. All axles are made from hardened and precision ground shafting. Many of the journals used in our kits feature Torrington needle bearings, which have excellent load capacity and low friction, an improvement over plain bronze bearings.
The combination of superior materials with easy assembly yields an authentic model which will provide years of trouble-free service.
Spare parts are available for all of our kits to assist in repair or scratch-building. Please contact us for a quotation.
2) If any part should have a defect which impairs it structurally or functionally, we will replace it free of charge.
3) If any part which has been purchased from 1 Inch Scale Railroad Supply ever wears out through NORMAL use, having been given reasonable care in the opinion of 1" Scale Railroad Supply, we will replace it free of charge.
4) This guarantee does not include damage from accident, misuse or abuse, or lack of reasonable care, and SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDES special, incidental, or consequential damages unless otherwise provided by the laws of your state.
