o Headlight Bezels Available : We have finally developed a brass bezel casting for the #8500 Pyle-National headlight kit. If you purchased a headlight kit in from us in the past and need a bezel casting, please let us know.
o Coupler Die Overhaul : After the original Nelson Gray die tooling suffered wear and damage while placed at a commercial die casting shop, we have brought the die in-house, removed it from it's 400-lb mounting, and spent several months and considerable expense re-configuring it for use on our die casting machine. This involved replacing damaged cores and missing core pullers, building a whole new ejector assembly, and grinding the parting surfaces. We are happy to report that the die is back in service and is producing couplers which are as easy to assemble as they were 30 years ago. We will cast the coupler kits in-house from now on.
o Machined Trucks : For various business reasons, we no longer offer the #4500, #4600, and #4700 tender and passenger truck kits in machined form. These kits will continue to be available with unmachined frames and bolsters with prints.
o T-Shirts : We developed these primarily as a means to bribe our suppliers, but they are available to you on a limited basis. Shirts are light gray with black print front & back. Size Large only, $15.00 ea + $5.00 shipping & handling.
