These quality Die Cast journal boxes are made available for scratchbuilders. The type 'A' and 'WP' use a half-bearing as per prototype. The types 'CL', 'RO', 'SKF', 'SP', and 'ST' all have a Torrington needle bearing pressed in. All use a 3/8" diameter axle. We have hardened & ground axles available for use with the Torrington needle bearings.
