Our Arch Bar trucks faithfully reproduce in 1" scale one of the earliest truck designs fabricated entirely of iron and steel. This type of truck was common in the late 19th century and could still be found much later on branch line railroads. The kit comes with separate center columns, journal boxes, and pre-formed arch bars along with all the other necessary components to make a pair of fine scale replicas of this widely popular truck. The wheelsets have rib-back wheels following prototype practice. All 180 holes have been cored or drilled, and only require tapping for completion. The kit comes with all spring and fasteners needed for assembly and mounting to your car's body bolster.
